The tariff is displayed as a Saturday start. If your property is let from a Thursday, Friday or Sunday please add or subtract 1 or 2 days to find your week. 

If your arrival day falls into the week before which may be in a different price band, this will make no difference as the price band for the week will be the one listed from the Saturday start date. 

Each week has its own price band so please find your week and then refer back to the pricing structure.

Short Breaks


Short breaks are available at most of our properties, and the prices are worked out as follows: 

3 nights = 70% of weekly tariff 
4 nights = 75% of weekly tariff 
5 nights = 80% of weekly tariff 
Short breaks are available throughout the year but depending on the dates you would like to arrive, you may only book them a certain time in advance, see booking date bands below: 
Price Bands 1 and 2 - Short breaks can be booked at any time. 
Price Band 3, 4 and 5 - Short breaks can be booked no sooner than 1 week in advance of arrival date.

2016 Bookings for this property for repeat guests only have now been released.  You are able to book online as a priority booker until 31st August 2015.  (This must be a booking for the same property for the equivalent week that you had this year).

If you are not a repeat guest or would like to change properties or weeks,  you will be able to book online from 01st September 2015.


The Slate House is a superb period property, a house of original style situated in the older, more sought after part of town with views over the roof tops to the estuary from the top floor.

The accommodation is arranged on three floors with numerous features including brick and stone fireplaces, natural wood floors, balcony window off the main bedroom, Cornish slate tiled floor, south facing garden and the benefit of off road parking.

The Slate House also has a lovely balcony and garden to the rear which is perfect for alfresco dining and relaxing on summer evenings.

Holiday home comprises:

Upstairs: 1 double bedroom (kingsize), 1 bunk bedroom, bathroom with bath with shower above and washbasin and a separate WC.

Second floor: 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom.

Outside: Balcony/sun terrace, garden and parking

Number of dogs permitted: 2 small dogs

Linen and Towels:

Pillows and duvets are provided. Linen hire service is available, call Debbie on 07855 552017.

NB:

There are steep steps from balcony to patio and open railings to balcony - care to be taken with small children.
Distant sea views from upstairs.
The open fire is a woodburner.

Access Statement

From the road there is a small paved driveway with parking plus a garage.

One step up over the door frame takes you into the ground floor hallway. From here there is one high step up into the kitchen with a door leading through to a shower room with WC and basin plus a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Back in the hallway there is one tiny step down in to the living/dining room. From the dining area there is a door leading out over one step to a slate paved patio area with table and chairs. Eight steps down lead onto a large patio area with more seating.

There is also a door leading out from the living room via one high step up and one step down onto the slate paved area (with eight steps down onto the next).

14 steps take you up to the first floor (watch your head on the way down as part of the ceiling is low). On this floor there is a separate WC and a narrow corridor leading down to a bathroom with bath and shower above and a bunk bedroom.

Two steps down from this hall lead through a low doorway into an upper hall where there is a king size double bedroom plus a further 12 steps up to the top floor where there is a twin and double bedroom.

The nearest payphone is outside the Custom House in Padstow. The nearest bus stop is at the bottom of Staion Road next to the Council carpark.
