| Featured in the Sunday Times "100 Cool Cottages" May's Cottage is a stunning holiday home located in St Issey, a peaceful location yet just a short drive from Padstow and the seven bays. The owners have recently refurbished and redecorated the cottage to provide an absolutely beautiful home with a rustic, french style and great attention to detail in every room. The cottage retains many original features such as wooden windowsills and beams yet has an abundance of modern conveniences like flat screen TV's, a great, modern kitchen and brand new bathrooms. The accommodation is comfortable and cosy with a large log burner in the lounge, perfect for the winter months, and a lovely open plan kitchen/conservatory with large pretty gardens (with an outside hot shower) for when the sun is shining. This cottage is the perfect country retreat. Downstairs: Open plan conservatory (with underfloor heating) and kitchen, lounge with flat screen TV & DVD, log burner and gas coal effect fire, bathroom with bath/power shower above, WC, basin & heated towel rail and a porch. Upstairs: 1 king size bedroom and ensuite with power shower, WC, basin & heated towel rail, 1 bunk bedroom with 2 sets of full size bunks, flat screen TV & DVD and 1 twin bedroom with ensuite power shower, WC, basin & heated towel rail and a walk in wardrobe. Large garden with hot outside shower (and new outside lighting), patio areas with seating plus a garage with washing machine and tumble dryer and a really great area for drying and storing wetsuits & surfboards ect. Access statement: From the driveway there are 4 steps up to the front door and 1 small step over the door frame inside in to the living area with 1 small step up into the kitchen/conservatory and downstairs bathroom. From the conservatory there are doors leading out down 1 step onto a path which leads round (up 1 step to a seating area then down 1 step) to the front patio and BBQ area with 6 steps from here up onto the lawn. 10 steps from the living area lead up to the second floor with 1 further step up into the twin bedroom. The nearest payphone and bus stop are opposite the Ring O' Bells pub in St Issey. This cottage is suitable for either 4 adults and 4 children or 6 adults.
