| 1 Oak Terrace is a stylish town house with accommodation spread over three floors. The house is set in an elevated position behind Duke Street and enjoys exceptional views over the town to the harbour and estuary. The interior is spacious and modern yet still retains all of the original character and charm of the property. Although only 3 minutes walk from the shops and Harbour, Oak Terrace is tucked away from public view and has a real feeling of privacy. The garden at the front of the house is the perfect spot to relax in and there is also a courtyard garden at the rear. With four bedrooms and large living areas this property is the ideal place for a family holiday. Downstairs: Kitchen, utility room, lounge, dining room and WC. Upstairs: 1 twin bedroom with ensuite shower and WC, 1 double bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom. Second floor: 1 double bedroom with ensuite shower and WC and a family bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC & basin. Sloping tiered front garden and small patio plus a rear courtyard. Access statement: Car access to 1 Oak Terrace is gained from St Saviours Lane. From here there is a sloping foot path which leads down through a private gate to Oak Terrace. Number 1 is the first house down the path. There are then 6 slate steps down onto a small slate courtyard with access to the back door. 1 small step over the door frame takes you in to the kitchen/utility room with 1 small step leading from here down into the dining room and on to the lounge. From the dining room there is 1 step up in to a separate WC with basin. 13 steps take you up to the first floor with 1 twin bedroom with en-suite shower and W.C, 1 double bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom. 11 further steps up a fairly narrow and steep stair case lead up to the second floor and onto a tiny landing with a low beam ( Care must be taken with children and not suitable for the elderly or infirm). There is then 1 step up to the left to a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and W.C or 1 step up to the right into a family bathroom with bath, separate shower and W.C. Outside: The sloping path continues on past the side of the house where you gain access to the front door and tiered garden. There is a slate paved area across the front of the house with seating. From here there are 4 steps up to the front door, 3 steps down on to the first lawn, 1 step down on to the second lawn and 2 steps down onto the third lawn. Between the garden for 1 Oak Terrace and 2 Oak Terrace there is a narrow sloping path which runs down between their gardens and leads to the town down 9 concrete steps, along a path and down another 12 concrete steps through a private gate and down a further 3 steps onto the pavement of Duke Street (this path is uneven in places and quite narrow so please take care, especially at night). The nearest payphone is outside the Custom House in Padstow. The nearest bus stop is at the bottom of Staion Road next to the Council carpark. This property provides linen & towels.
