St Issey, Little Petherick and Wadebridge

Two miles south of Padstow on the A389 to Wadebridge lay the adjoining parishes of St Issey and Little Petherick. Saints founded both parishes and the Saints Way passes through the villages on its way to Fowey. The two villages have nearly twenty hamlets between them such as, Tregonce, Halwyn and Tredinnick. Mellingey Mill and the Crealy Adventure Park are both nearby.

Both St Issey and Little Petherick are ideal locations for a relaxing holiday.  Being slightly inland they still retain a nice, rural, village atmosphere as well as being just a few miles from Padstow and the surrounding beaches and coastline. Wadebridge is a lovely market town located only 7 miles from Padstow and offers a wide selection of amenities including three supermarkets. There is also an abundance of quirky gift shops, art shops and boutiques as well as two butchers and a bakery (brilliant pasties!).  Wadebridge also offers some great places to eat including Indian and Chinese restaurants, a bistro, some great café’s and a few traditional pubs.  The camel trail is also easily accessed from here and bike hire is available.
